I put data where performance is actually decided: federation-level governance, sensor pipelines, modelling the effort itself.

What I do four fields, one chain

Trained first as an engineer in computer science and statistics, then in the optimisation of athletic performance. I work at the exact boundary between information-systems architecture and elite sport science, a place where you need to write the pipeline and know what the measurement means.

Data governance

Mapping athlete data flows, writing the data dictionaries and setting the rules that keep a federation's data estate coherent. Without that work, every coaching staff recomputes its own indicator and nothing can be compared to anything.

SQLData modellingDocumentation

Pipelines & sensors

Building the API connectors and ETL chains that bring heterogeneous feeds (GPS, LPS, tracking, force plates) into a single reference store, with the quality controls that have to come with them.

PythonPandasREST APIs

Modelling the effort

Quantifying training load, reading force–velocity mechanical profiles, and estimating a young athlete's potential while accounting for relative, biological and training age. Raw performance conflates those three variables every single time.

Scikit-learnRStatistics

Decision support

Making all of it usable by a coaching staff on a Monday morning: dashboards, visual reporting, and training the people who rely on them. An indicator nobody reads is worth nothing.

Career professional experience

Jan. 2025 → present

Research data engineer & performance analyst

INSEP / French Basketball Federation — Paris

  • Mapping athlete data flows, building data dictionaries and governance rules to protect the integrity of the federation's data estate.
  • Automated ETL pipelines and API connectors in Python and SQL, integrating heterogeneous sensor and tracking feeds.
  • Quality-control mechanisms and procedures that make field-collected data trustworthy.
  • Training-load modelling, mechanical profiling (power, force–velocity) and decision-support tooling for coaching staff.

Aug. 2026 → present

Independent data & sport science consultant

Self-employed — France

  • Supporting professional sport organisations: data architecture design, API integration, advanced statistical modelling.
  • Bespoke dashboard design and optimisation of existing data flows.

Jan. 2024 → Jan. 2025

Data analyst — internship

INSEP — Paris

  • Cleaning, processing and modelling quantitative high-performance datasets.
  • Industrialising analysis workflows through Python and SQL automation.
  • Interactive dashboards and technical documentation of athlete-monitoring indicators.

Education

2025 → 2026

MSc — Training and optimisation of athletic performance

Université Jean Monnet, Sport Science — Saint-Étienne

  • Exercise physiology, biomechanics, training-load planning, applied research in elite sport.

2020 → 2025

Engineering degree — computer science, statistics and AI

Polytech Lille, ISIA programme — five-year degree

  • Information-systems architecture, data governance and modelling.
  • Advanced programming (Python, R), databases, API design, applied statistics.

Mar. 2024 → Feb. 2025

Exchange year — computer science and statistics

Universidad Nacional del Sur — Bahía Blanca, Argentina

  • A full academic year taught in Spanish. That is where the C1 comes from.

Projects two production apps, on video

Football scouting platform

Recruitment web application for a professional scouting unit: a pool of several tens of thousands of players, a performance rating per position and per season, field reports partitioned by scout, and trajectory projections.
